Exclusive Event: Friends of Mahiki

We did a blog review for Mahiki and their incredible social secretary, Simon, reached out and invited us to their exclusive event, Friends of Mahiki: an evening party for bloggers, photographers and trendsetters in London.
Arrival: The event ran from 19:30 - 10:30. We were greeted at the door and were presented with two gold coins each as ‘friends of Mahiki’ - with which we could get two free rum punches; we proceeded to the lower-ground.
Party: To say the least, it was lit. A huge, hollywood-bulbed ‘F.O.M’ sign adorned the centre stage, surrounded by popular instagrammers, youtube sensations and some health and lifestyle brands offering their product samples. We had CocoFuzion, Nosh Detox, Fresh Beauty, Rimmel London, Made-In-Chelsea star, Jamie Laing’s Candy Kittens, VitaCoco, HangDr., Karzima Beauty, LIC and Mahiki’s own rum! The singer / songwriter Tallia Storm performed a few of her songs and Tom Daley paid a visit as well!
Music: The party started out with soft beats to encourage networking, but as the drinks began to take effect: effortlessly transitioned into familiar top charts.
Overall: It was a great party and a big shout-out to Mahiki for bringing the new generation of entrepreneurs and influencers under one roof, while social media was definitely the theme - social connection was the vibe.
